30 day photo challege, day 4: something green i bought asparagus this morning at the farmer’s market from a very lovely amish gentleman. it came to serve a triple purpose: grilled for our dinner, steamed and diced in a frittata for g/q, and photographed for today’s assignment. i shot this using the food mode (L-O-V-E that our camera has a food mode!!!) using the macro setting. i was losing what little bit of natural light i had left (today? mucho grande clouds!!!), but i like how the low light picks up that aubergine hue that often goes overlooked on asparagus.
